Job Location (Emigrant Gap, CA)
Position details - This position performs a variety of food preparation duties according to planned menus, recipes, and the number of persons to be served. They will prepare and cook meals in large quantities. Perform custodial duties as needed. Maintains the kitchen in a clean and sanitary fashion. Routine work is performed in accordance with established and well-known policies, practices and procedures. Does related work as required. At time may need to spend the night at camp during inclement weather. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid food handlers certification, valid class C Drivers license and a good driving record and basic knowledge of institutional quality food preparation, methods, procedures and service, weights and measures, kitchen safety and sanitation. Work schedule is four 10 hour shifts per week with occasional weekend work to support guest groups.
Compensation - Starting at $51,660 per year. Full time with fringe benefits.
